What do food and business have in common?

They can both give you indigestion?

They’re both engines of the economy?

They can both bore you to tears if you don’t vary your menu?

They can be as spicy as you like, if you’ve got a strong enough stomach?

All those things may be true, but here’s another thing the two subjects have in common: me.

I’m a longtime business journalist suddenly making a living as a magazine editor — first of a food magazine and now of a regional monthly that will debut in September 2008.

But my first love is still newspapers.

This Web site exists because I wanted to share my habit of exploring other newspaper front pages with a few friends. But if I could have a blog, why not a Web site? I hope you’ll find something here to entertain and enlighten.
